 Workers will rather work for free than accept N48,000 — NLC The Nigeria Labour Congress has warned that it would rather mobilise workers to remain at home with their families or offer free services than accept the paltry N48,000 new minimum wage being offered by the Federal Government when they meet on Tuesday. The Deputy President of the NLC Political Commission, Prof. Theophilus Ndubuaku, disclosed this in an exclusive interview. On Wednesday, the NLC and the Trade Union Congress had walked away from the negotiation table after the FG offered to pay N48,000, a figure far below the N615,00 the unions demanded as the new national minimum wage. A young woman has told the heartbreaking story of her boyfriend who left her after he paid her bride price.

In the video that the young woman posted, she says that she and the man had been together for years before he moved to Italy.

They had a great relationship until after their marriage introduction. Then, the man in question became a snub.

She wrote;

“Since 2015 we have been dating. He travelled to Spain to hustle in 2018. Came back December 2021 did introduction and travel back. Everything was going fine till this January …to pick my calls is problewm.. he don’t call for any reason. Never been pain like this. What should I do guys. He has paid my bride price already .. i really wish he did not. could have moved on with my life… I cant date anyone too.”.

    Well to be on a safer side of life, I will advise you travel to Italy and once that is achieved, you can move on from the outcome.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
