 PRESS RELEASE FCT POLICE BUST CAR THEFT SYNDICATE, RECOVER TWO STOLEN VEHICLES, AND ARREST THREE SUSPECTS. …as suspects confess to refurbishing and reselling stolen vehicles as newer models On April 11, 2025, following a distress call received by Durumi Division regarding the theft of a Toyota Corolla, 2005 model, gold in colour, with registration number KUJ 208 DA, stolen from the owner’s residence, operatives of the Division immediately swung into action. The vehicle was tracked to a workshop in Durumi, where it was discovered undergoing illegal refurbishment. The colour was being altered in an attempt to evade detection and facilitate a quick resale. A further search of the premises led to the recovery of another suspected stolen vehicle—a red Toyota Corolla with registration number GWA 844 CK—previously reported stolen from a residence in Jikwoyi. A young woman has told the heartbreaking story of her boyfriend who left her after he paid her bride price.

In the video that the young woman posted, she says that she and the man had been together for years before he moved to Italy.

They had a great relationship until after their marriage introduction. Then, the man in question became a snub.

She wrote;

“Since 2015 we have been dating. He travelled to Spain to hustle in 2018. Came back December 2021 did introduction and travel back. Everything was going fine till this January …to pick my calls is problewm.. he don’t call for any reason. Never been pain like this. What should I do guys. He has paid my bride price already .. i really wish he did not. could have moved on with my life… I cant date anyone too.”.

    Well to be on a safer side of life, I will advise you travel to Italy and once that is achieved, you can move on from the outcome.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
