 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES TEAM NIGERIA ON OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AT THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES IN GLASGOW ​President Bola Tinubu congratulates Team Nigeria on their remarkable performance at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. The ​President celebrates the athletes for demonstrating the resilience, determination, discipline, and excellence that define the Nigerian spirit. A statement by  Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga says  President Tinubu commends Team Nigeria for flying the country's flag with dignity and pride, affirming that the 24 medals won—10 gold, 7 silver, and 7 bronze—are a testament to their hard work and perseverance. ​The President notes that the experience gained by every athlete will serve as a strong foundation for greater accomplishments in future international competitions and inspire many young Nigerians to embrace the values of commitment and national service. ​President Tinubu praises the leadersh...

GO THROUGH HUNGARY AND HUNGARY AND ROMANIA AS POLAND ROUTE IS CONGESTED-FG TELLS STRANDED NIGERIANS IN UKRAINE. (PHOTO).

For Nigerians based in Ukraine trying to make their way out, another option has been offered by the Federal Government: they can also head for Hungary or Romania.

Earlier through the efforts of the Foreign Affairs Minister, the Polish authorities had agreed to receive Nigerians fleeing from Ukraine. However, there were reports of huge crowds trying to enter Poland. This necessitated the option of Hungary and Romania.

The Embassy also revealed that arrangements are being made for the transportation of Nigerians who present their valid passport and Ukrainian resident permit and “some money in Euros”. It also advised that affected Nigerians send their names, phone numbers, email addresses and a copy of their biodata page to the email embassy’s consular (secretary @nigerianembassy.hu) to enable facilitation of logistics arrangements.
