 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

MAPOLY Student Bags Seven Months Jail Term for Impersonation

The Ibadan Zonal Command of the EFCC, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, secured the conviction and sentencing of a 24-year-old student of Computer Science at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Adebowale Babatunde Ismail, to seven months imprisonment before Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, Oyo State for the offence of criminal impersonation.

The offence is contrary to Section 22 (2) (b) (ii) of Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention etc.) Act, 2015, and punishable under Section 22 (2) (b) of the same Act.

The defendant fraudulently represented himself as Annabel Torrens to one John Dauherty through an email address: dsprinklse@gmail.com in order to take advantage of his victim. Upon his arraignment, he pleaded ‘guilty’ to the one count charge.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
