 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

1 am in Ethiopia, where I went to an Ethiopian 0rthodox Church. The priest asked the congregation to pray and I closed my eyes to pray. The priest came to me and asked in Amharic ‘why are you closing your eyes?’ I said ‘because we are praying’. He said ‘where do you see that in Scripture’. I was speechless. Ethiopians are the oldest Christians in the world, bar none. They became Christians a year after Christ’s death (Acts 8:38). Jews and Ethiopian Christians do not close their eyes to pray. The practice is a European tradition, originating from the practice of making petitions to kings, of which protocol demanded that your eyes be closed. So many traditions we think are Scriptural, are not!

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
