 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. Two Feared Dead As Two Vehicles Collide At Nawfia Axis Of The Enugu-Onitsha Expressway




Two people are feared dead as two vehicles collided at Nawfia axis of the Enugu-Onitsha expressway.

The vehicles involved in the accident are a Toyota Highlander with registration number ACA 688 PX and Mercedes 911 with registration number AH 367 UWN.

Eyewitnesses around the accident scene, including Mr Amos Nwovu attributed it to loss of concentration perhaps arising from use of mobile phone while driving.

Driver of the ill-fated 911, Mr Sunny Balogun from Ogun State, who explained that he and his two colleagues, now trapped by their vehicle conveying banana from Cross River State, said occupants of the Toyota vehicle absconded the scene on notice the damages caused.

Meanwhile, FRSC officials have arrived the scene at the time of this report, trying to lift the vehicle and free those trapped.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
