 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. A Canada based man called Emma Duru has offered to place these happy boys on salaries for months and get them new jobs.

Also, a Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Media, Ossai Ovie Success, also says he has a job for them at Delta First Media and urged people to help him get their contact.

“I heard they were sacked by Chicken Republic fast food because they were dancing on duty.

“They actually succeeded in bringing more customers to the Chicken republic with their dancing video but with the sack, Chicken Republic fast food just succeeded in losing more customers.

“We are leaving in an era of social media and those guys should be appreciated by Chicken Republic fast food for free promotion not sack .

He then went ahead to offer them a job at the Delta first media Asaba.
