 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. Court Convicts Serial Fraudster for N180million Fraud
Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja, has convicted and sentenced Mohammed Sani Zubair to two years imprisonment.

Zubair, a serial fraudster was first arraigned on October 8, 2018, on 4-count charges bordering on fraudulent dealings. He was alleged to be a member of a syndicate that specialized in defrauding people. Specifically, he defrauded a retired Army General to the tune of N180.000, 000 (One Hundred and Eighty Million Naira only) 
Zubair's journey to the Correctional Centre started when children of one Major General Geoffrey Ejiga (retd) petitioned the EFCC alleging that a syndicate of fraudsters took advantage of their father's old age to defraud him of over N180, 000,000 (One Hundred and Eighty Million Naira only).  

The EFCC investigated the matter and found out that Zubair was involved in several other fraudulent dealings. He was eventually prosecuted and convicted by the court.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
