 U.S Finalizes $20,000 Visa Bond Policy Affecting Nigeria and 49 Other Nations The United States government has officially formalized its visa bond policy, making it a permanent measure that could require travelers from 50 designated countries, including Nigeria, to pay a refundable bond of up to $20,000 before receiving certain visas. First introduced as a pilot scheme in 2025, the policy targets applicants seeking B1 and B2 visas, which are designated for business and tourism. According to the U.S. Department of State, the initiative is designed to bolster compliance with local immigration laws and drastically reduce visa overstay rates. Broadway costume designer Tony Walton has died after suffering complications from a stroke.  Tony - who was once married to Julie Andrews ,(Sound of Music Star).- passed away on Wednesday.

Julie Andrews and Tony Walton were both married on the 10th of May 1959 divorced in 1967,they first met in 1948 when she was in Humpty Dumpty. He passed away at the age of 87 years.

Meanwhile On the  15th of  December 2010, Julie Andrews's second husband Blake Edwards died at the age of 88, of complications of pneumonia at the Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. Andrews was by her husband's side when he died.
