 NNPCL Sells N336bn Crude in Q1 2025, Dangote Refinery Buys 32% -April 22, 2025 | The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited earned N336.37bn from crude oil sales in Q1 2025, with Dangote Refinery accounting for N107.44bn (32%), internal NNPCL documents reveal. Seven crude cargoes, totaling 915,821 barrels, were sold to Dangote under the naira-for-crude deal at exchange rates between N1,501.22/$ and N1,562.91/$. The policy aims to reduce FX demand and stabilize fuel prices. NNPCL also sold 1.95 million barrels to foreign refiners, generating $151.44m (N228.93bn), mainly from Egina, Erha, and Forcados blends. The transactions highlight the firm’s balance between domestic supply and forex earnings.

NIGERIAN ARMY HOLDS COAS FIRST QUARTER CONFERENCE 2022


The Chief of Army Staff First Quarter Conference 2022 is scheduled to hold from 14-18 March 2022 at the Army Headquarters Command Officers’ Mess 1, Asokoro Abuja. 

The Conference will provide a platform for the NA to appraise its performance thus far for the year 2022.  Additionally, it will retrospectively and holistically evaluate all ongoing operational engagements by the NA, with a view to effectively project into the future. Expectedly, it will also provide an interactive framework between the COAS and Field Commanders. 
 
The Conference will be declared open by the COAS Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya on Tuesday, 15 March 2022. Thereafter, there will be series of briefs and presentations in the coming days. These will include; updates  on operations, training, logistics, welfare amongst other topical issues.
