 A popular content creator has died from surgery complication     Esther Thomas, popularly known as Sunshine, was a Nigerian content creator, skit maker, and brand influencer. She died on Friday, 9 January 2026, after complications from fibroid surgery. She had been complaining of serious stomach pain from late December 2025.     Sunshine was first admitted at Orchid General Hospital in Lagos, where her friends said she was only given pain relief drugs because doctors were on strike. Her condition did not improve, so she was moved to another hospital on 2 January 2026, where tests showed she had a large fibroid and surgery was carried out. She later developed complications and died. After her death, friends blamed Orchid General Hospital online, saying she was neglected and did not receive proper treatment early enough. PRESIDENT BUHARI CONGRATULATES DR DOYIN OKUPE ON 70TH BIRTHDAY

 
President Muhammadu Buhari sends warm greetings to Dr Doyin Okupe, former Special Assistant to the President, Media, 1999-2001 and Senior Special Assistant to the President, Public Affairs, 2012-2015, joining family and friends to celebrate with the medical doctor, who served the nation in many capacities.

President Buhari notes the worthy contributions of Dr Okupe to the political development of the country, setting out to contest election in the Second Republic at a young age, and working assiduously for the return of the country to full democracy.

The President believes Dr Okupe’s background as a medical doctor and former Managing Director of a private clinic, shaped his penchant for service, bringing a wealth of experience that keeps him active and relevant.

President Buhari prays that the publicist, publisher and democrat will thrive in good health, strength and more wisdom as he turns a septuagenarian.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
