 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. SOLUDO AKWETE REVOLUTION GAINS MOMENTUM AS PDP GOVERNORS ADORN THE LOCALLY MADE FABRIC IN THEIR MEETING IN ABIA STATE

The revolution of patronising our locally made fabrics and products which Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, Governor of Anambra State spearheaded has started yielding dividends 

In their on-going PDP Governors' meeting in Abia State, all the Governors who were at the meeting were seen all cladded in the locally-woven Akwaete. 

All the Governors were looking splendid as they step out from their meeting wearing neatly woven Akwaete clothes 

Governor Soludo has been largely credited with the promotion and marketing of the Akwaete fabrics. In his recent interview with Arise TV, Soludo asserted that his promotion of the local fabric has shot up the demand for it. 

This assertion has been proved right with the PDP Governors who stepped out fully cladded in the locally made fabric today

The 13 Governor’s of the PDP are H.E Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, H.E Godwin Obaseki, H.E Ifeanyi Okowa, H.E Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, H.E Nyesom Wike, H.E Samuel Ortom, H.E Seyi Makinde, H.E Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
