 Thugs Break Into Mortuary in Nzhelele, allegedly stole equipment An elderly security guard was brutally attacked during a break-in at Luvhani Mortuary in Nzhelele, Limpopo, on Friday. According to reports, unknown suspects assaulted the guard with a pick handle and an axe. He sustained serious injuries to his head and legs and was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. The suspects allegedly stole equipment from the mortuary before fleeing the scene. Police have opened a case and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify and arrest the suspects.

Court Strikes Out 8 of 15 Terrorism FG Charges Against Nnamdi Kanu. 


The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has struck out eight out of the 15 count charges preferred by the federal government against the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The Justice Binta Nyako court freed Nnamdi Kanu of eight counts charges slammed on him by the Federal Government on Friday, while ruling on a preliminary objection filed by the IPOB leader challenging the validity of the 15-count amended charge preferred against him by the federal government.

ā€œIn this instant preliminary objection application, I have read the counts and come to the conclusion that counts 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 have not disclosed any offense against the Defendant.

ā€œā€˜Counts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 15 shows some allegations, which the Defendant has to answer" the court ruled.
