 Four people have died after a car was swept away at an overflowing bridge in the Makotopong River near Sebayeng. Police recovered the bodies after a blue Renault Kwid carrying five occupants was pulled into the river during heavy water flow on Sunday morning, 8 March 2026. One passenger escaped from the vehicle and alerted police and emergency services. Police say the car was travelling along the Madiga–Makotopong gravel road when it overturned at the flooded bridge and was dragged into the river. The Provincial Search and Rescue team recovered the first body on Sunday. The victim was identified as Lebapa Petrus Mochitele, 27, from Madiga Village. EMS personnel declared him dead at the scene. Search operations resumed on Monday with the SAPS Water Wing Unit, EMS Search and Rescue, the Fire and Rescue Department, and an EMS helicopter. Let me shout that i was there last night when we were just Gisting and chilling after the concert and bros started praying for @tobijeffrichards that A Car is coming...


I was just recording as i usually do when i see wonderful moments happening around me,not knowing I was capturing a God moment because...


We all didn't even know that Tobi's wife and his friends @kingdavid @topebadejo had told him at different times during the week that they can feel it that he is about to get a car soon


But bros @sammieokposo heard God tell him to give my brother a car and on the dpot,he made arrangements for the car.

 And this morning, He gave @tobijeffrichards  the car.. 


I am sharing this testimony with so much joy because it happened right in front of me and this is one of many that God has been doing back to back for my brother.
