 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. Killings: Your Days Are Numbered – Defence Chief, Irabor Warns Terrorists

The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor, has warned terrorists troubling the Southern part of Kaduna State that their days are numbered.

Irabor also restated the resolve of Nigeria’s military to restore peace in Southern Kaduna.

He made this known in Kafanchan on Thursday during a peace meeting with stakeholders involved in the Southern Kaduna crisis, NAN reports.

Southern Kaduna has become a hotbed of deadly attacks by terrorists in recent months.

In some quarters in Southern Kaduna, over 100 persons were killed following repeated attacks on several communities in the area.

Also, the terrorists recently attacked a train on the Abuja-Kaduna route at about 7:43pm, the Nigerian Railway Corporation said 398 tickets were bought, saying that only 362 passengers were validated.
