Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. Police Repel Another Gunmen Attack on Anambra Police Station

Gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday attacked a police station in Anaku, Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra State.
 
They were however repelled by police officers on duty, causing the gunmen to flee.

Anambra State Police command’s spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga who confirmed the incident said the gunmen after being successfully repelled threw a locally made explosive into the compound, but no casualties were recorded.
He said police in Anambra are more determined now than ever, to protect all their facilities from attacks, and also face the attackers.
He said: “The Anambra police operatives are more firm and courageous, following the successful repel of an attack in the early hours of today 20/4/2022 at Anaku divisional headquarters.
“The operatives stood firm and engaged the hoodlums which made them flee the scene. Also, the miscreants in a bid to escape threw bon fires inside the station and it affected three of police operational vehicles. No casualty on part of police and all police arms are intact
“Meanwhile, police reinforcement is already there, operation is still ongoing and further details shall be communicated,” he told THE RAZOR NEWS.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
