  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. RAMADAN: GOV. BUNI OF YOBE APPROVES FOOD ITEMS FOR 25,000 VULNERABLE HOUSEHOLDS IN YOBE.(PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

Ramadan: Gov. Buni of Yobe approves food items for 25,000 vulnerable households in Yobe. 

As the holy month of Ramadan 1444AH sets in, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon Mai Mala Buni has on 30th March 2022 approved a Ramadan support for 25,000 vulnerable households and IDPs across the state. His Excellency further directed Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (YOSEMA) to coordinate with stakeholders and ensure successful distribution of the support to targeted vulnerable household across the state.

The Ramadan support is aimed at providing immediate food needs to the most vulnerable population to cushion their hardship in the holy month. YOSEMA alongside stakeholders at state and LGA levels have since initiated a distribution plan that will ensure delivery of food items to the beneficiaries effective first week of Ramadan 1444AH. 

To fastrack His Excellency’s directives, YOSEMA has since dispatched consignment for six (6) LGAs while others to follow immediately in accordance with plan distribution. While appreciating His Excellency's timely gesture, YOSEMA admonishes stakeholders to ensure immediate distribution at local government and community levels to the targeted beneficiaries as directed by the Governor. 

It is our prayers that may Almighty Allah SWT accept all our good deeds and keep us guided on the righteous path during the forthcoming Holy month of Ramadan.
