 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. Anambra State Fire Service Celebrates 2022 International Firefighters Day.



Today marks another milestone in the lives of firefighters as Anambra State Fire Service joins the world to celebrate 2022 International Firefighters Day.

The Anambra State Fire Service is celebrating the day with a road show which commenced from the headquarters of the agency at Agu Awka through Arroma Junction, Raegina Caeli Junction, UNIZIK tempsite, Kwata junction.

Earlier in his address, the Fire Chief of the State, Engineer Martin Agbili, said the celebration gives them a chance to honour and thank every firefighter everywhere.

According to him, it is also a time for the world to recognize and honour the sacrifices that firefighters make to ensure that their communities and environments are as safe as possible.

The theme of this year's celebration is "Rise Above The Challenge".

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
