 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Court Jails Two Internet Fraudsters in Benin

Two internet fraudsters, Favour Aigbido and Obehi Oamen Kingsley were on Wednesday May 25, 2022, convicted and sentenced to prison by Justice Efe Ikponmwonba of the Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City.

The duo were arraigned by the Benin Zonal Command of the Commission on a separate one count charge of fraudulent impersonation.

Aigbido falsely represented himself as Ahmad Michael, a Bitcoin miner, while Kingsley impersonated the identity of Chen Dale, a Japanese Engineer, to defraud unsuspecting victims.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
