 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. Court Refuses Okorocha’s Bail Bid

The attempt by a former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha to force his release by the EFCC on Friday, 27 May, 2022 failed as Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High court, Abuja refused his ex parte application asking to be released on bail pending the determination of a suit he filed against the Federal Government.

Mr. Okorocha who was arrested by the EFCC on Tuesday May 25, 2022 premised his application on the grounds that his presidential ambition under the platform of the All Progressives Congress could be imperiled unless granted bail.

But Justice Ekwo declined to compel the EFCC to release him on bail but ordered the applicant to put the Federal Government on notice to justify his continued detention.

The EFCC has filed a 17-count criminal charge against Okorocha before the same judge, with arraignment adjourned until May 30, 2022.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
