 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. FRIENDS DEMAND JUSTICE FOR A DOMESTIC ABUSE VICTIM WHO WAS KILLED AFTER SHE DECIDED TO LEAVE HER ALLEGEDLY TOXIC EX




Friends are demanding justice for a South African woman who was killed while trying to leave her allegedly abusive boyfriend.

Singwa Namhla Mtwa, 34, suffered abuse for years in the hands of her long term boyfriend Major Mfesane Bhekezu, friends say.

In one incident, she was allegedly beaten by her boyfriend with a leather belt for 8 hours.

She decided to leave the toxic relationship but was shot 9 times in the driveway at her home, in April 21, 2022.

South African Twitter users are now demanding justice for the deceased.

Though her boyfriend has not been charged for her murder, Twitter users suggest he might have a hand in her death but they alleged no one wants to do anything about it because he is "untouchable" and a very connected businessman.
