 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Kano Deputy Speaker Dumps APC, Joins Kwankwaso In NNPP 

The deputy speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Zubairu Hamza Massu, has defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.

Mr Massu, also grassroots politician in Kano South, announced his decision to dump APC in a letter addressed to Massu Ward chairman of the party.

The lawmaker cited crises in the party and unjust treatment and lack of internal democracy.

“The decision is mainly due to unjust treatment, inadequate internal democracy and the total marginalization of Kano South from a lot of opportunities,” he said in the letter.
