 Carrick favourite for Man Utd caretaker role Michael Carrick has emerged as favourite to be appointed Manchester United caretaker head coach, according to sources close to the process. Club chiefs are hoping to have an appointment in place for when players return to training on Wednesday. While a final decision is yet to be reached, talks are said to have progressed with the 44-year-old over the position. Carrick previously had a three-game stint as United's temporary boss following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's dismissal in 2021. He won two and drew one of those matches but left after Ralf Rangnick's arrival as interim manager. Solskjaer held face-to-face discussions with the club on Saturday about a return. United sacked Ruben Amorim as manager after 14 months in the job on 5 January. SUPER FALCONS' COACH NAMES ORDEGA, OSHOALA, 30 OTHERS TO WOMEN AFCON CAMP IN MOROCCO



Benue born Super Falcons star Francisca Ordega has been named among the 32 invited players ahead of the forthcoming Africa Women Cup of Nations. Nigeria is drawn into Group C alongside South Africa, Botswana and Burundi in a tournament which starts on July 2.

Also on the list of invited players are; Barcelona Femeni striker Asisat Oshoala, captain Onome Ebi, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and Rasheedat Ajibade

The Nigerian team’s camp will open in the hosting nation two weeks before kickoff. In a statement by the Nigeria Football Federation, which was made available to journalists,

The CSKA Moscow female striker, Francisca Ordega was invited to lead the attack alongside Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
