 SECURITY: NEIGHBOURHOOD SAFETY CORPS APPREHENDS TWO THIEVES IN IKORODU While Lagos residents celebrated the Eid el Fitri festival, operatives of the Ikorodu Command of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps apprehended two thieves as they attempted to make away with stolen items. The culprits, Olamilekan Adumobi 21 (m) from Bode-Olude, Abeokuta, Ogun State and his accomplice, Jabir (m) who claimed to be a crap dealer from Katsina state, were arrested by the officers at about 1400hrs in front of the Central Mosque on Kazeem Arulogun Street.  The two suspects were then taken to the Ikorodu Command office at Ita-Elewa, where they confessed to stealing five pieces of Cutting disc, two pieces of welding tongs, five pieces of angle iron, and one iron hammer.  The owners of the items and the property at Abule Balogun, Eruwen, where the thieves burgled were all contacted on the phone to report to the office. šŸ†The Duchess of Cambridge has presented Saul Nash with The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.

Now in its fifth year, the award aims to provide continuing recognition of the cultural and trade role the British design and fashion industry has played, and continues to play, throughout Her Majesty's reign. 

Saul is a British-Guyanese designer who is redefining how we look at luxury menswear and sportswear through his work.

The inaugural award was first announced and presented to Richard Quinn in February 2018 when The Queen made her first visit to London Fashion Week.
