We're Already Laying Siege Against Those Terrorizing The State - Governor Soludo

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo says it is time for christians to unite to defend their faith in the face of evils in the State.

Professor Soludo, who stated this at the Second Session of the Sixth Synod of Anglican Diocese of Aguata, held at Saint James' Church, Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area, while reminding the congregation that the last institution those causing mayhem in the State want to exterminate is the church, stated that Anambra is a Christian State, and will never succumb to idolatry.

He said that following his recent declaration of State of emergency on criminal elements operating in the State, security forces are already taking the war squarely to the hideouts of those terrorizing the State.

Governor Soludo, who noted that the quest to secure Anambra State is a collective fight, urged ndi Anambra to report activities of those who have seen criminality in the State as a lucrative enterprise.

He assured that despite scanty resources, he will give ndi Anambra a State to be proud of.

In his address, the Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor, while reminding the governor that ndi Anambra expect a lot from him given the current state of things in Anambra State, assured him of the continuous support of the church to ensure that his administration succeeds.

Right Reverend Ezeofor who prayed for the governor and his family, said that God will lead his vision to remodel Anambra State.

The governor attended the event alongside his wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo.
