 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. CAMEROONIAN/NIGERIAN ARTIST WON 'THE VOICE KIDS' IN BELGIUM. (VIDEO/PHOTOS).

Karista Khan 14-year-old Cameroonian and Nigerian artist has won the prestigious kid singing competition, The Voice Kids 2022, which took place in Belgium.

According to reports, Karista in the course of the competition showcased a stunning performance of “speak the name” by “Karyn Howthome”That was at the knockout stage of the competition  

The Cameroonian and Nigerian artist was given the sum of 10,000 Euros as cash prize. She emerged winner out of over 50 kids with whom she began the competition.

She won ‘the voice kids’ Belgium 2022. And this is the first time in history that a black child competed with Gospel  music and won.

It should be noted that The Voice Kids is a Belgian music talent show for aspiring singers aged between 8 and 14.
