 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. ENGINEER,POS OPERATOR JAILED FOR CYBER CRIME IN ILORIN.(PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

Engineer, POS Operator Jailed for Cybercrime in Ilorin

The Ilorin Zonal Command of the EFCC has secured the conviction a certain Oyewole Maruf Damilare, who claimed to be an Engineer from Ifedore Local Government Area of Osun State and one Olusanya Idowu Lukman, a PoS operator from Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Justice Mahmoud Abdulgafar of the Kwara State High Court, Ilorin convicted and sentenced the duo to various jail terms, having found them guilty of offences bordering on cybercrime and possession of proceeds of illegal activities levelled against them by the EFCC.

The Commission arraigned Oyewole on two count charges of cheating by personation and possession of proceeds of unlawful activities, while Olusanya was prosecuted on one count of personation whence he allegedly posed as one Lena Kincy on Facebook to scam unsuspecting victim.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
