 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Lightning strikes IMSU student to death

A 20-yer-old 100-level student of the Imo State University Owerri (IMSU) identified as Chiamaka Obodo has lost her life after being struck by lightning following a heavy downpour.

It was gathered that the deceased student was making a call with her phone inside her parents’ house at Obilubi Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State when lightning struck.

She died on the spot before help could get to her. Her body has since been deposited at the morgue while Friday, June 17 has been fixed for her burial.
