 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

Lightning strikes IMSU student to death

A 20-yer-old 100-level student of the Imo State University Owerri (IMSU) identified as Chiamaka Obodo has lost her life after being struck by lightning following a heavy downpour.

It was gathered that the deceased student was making a call with her phone inside her parents’ house at Obilubi Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State when lightning struck.

She died on the spot before help could get to her. Her body has since been deposited at the morgue while Friday, June 17 has been fixed for her burial.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
