Tinubu forgave Northern govs who opposed him in 2023, says Shettima Vice President Kashim Shettima has said President Bola Tinubu demonstrated political maturity by forgiving northern governors who opposed his presidential bid in the 2023 election, urging politicians in Kwara State to similarly reconcile after their contests. Shettima stated this on Wednesday in Ilorin while speaking at the turbaning of the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, as the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari. The Vice President, who spoke against the backdrop of political activities ahead of the 2027 elections, urged politicians to regard political contests as temporary and avoid allowing disagreements arising from them to become permanent divisions. LAGOS TASKFORCE DEBUNKS FAKE RECRUITMENT EXERCISE


The Lagos State Taskforce has debunked an online publication being circulated about an ongoing recruitment exercise at the Agency, declaring the viral post as a figment of the imagination of dubious-minded individuals.

A statement signed by the Chairman of the Task Force, CSP Shola Jejeloye, stressed that there is no ongoing recruitment exercise at the Agency. 

He emphasised that recruitments into Agencies of the State Government are carried out by the State Civil Service Commission or the Public Service Office of the State and vacancies are disseminated through all State Government information outlets, as well as print and electronic media platforms.

The Chairman, therefore, warned unsuspecting members of the public to disregard the bogus recruitment publication, maintaining that it is the handwork of mischief makers and charlatans who aim to scam residents of the State.

CSP Jejeloye averred that the Agency will do everything humanly possible to determine the origin of the message and arrest everyone behind the fake online publication.
