 FRSC, Anambra Govt Strengthen Partnership on Grassroots Road Safety Awareness By Chisom Okpala The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Anambra State Government have renewed their commitment to strengthening grassroots road safety awareness and reducing road traffic crashes across the state. The commitment was made when the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Anambra, Corps Commander Bridget Asakhauno, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Barr. Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, in his office on Aug. 26. The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore areas of collaboration, particularly in promoting community based road safety initiatives through local government authorities and grassroots communities. Discussions focused on intensifying public enlightenment on safe driving practices, compliance with traffic regulations, responsible road use and pedestrian safety. NBA STATEMENT ON THE RECENT DEVELOPMENTS AT THE SUPREME COURT OF NIGERIA




Dear Colleagues,


As you may already know, a letter was written by 14 Justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, alleging amongst others, several improprieties and administrative inefficiencies that have affected their judicial responsibilities and impacted the administration of justice in Nigeria.


Kindly find attached, a statement by the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association, calling for a resolution of the issues and advocating for the independence and financial autonomy of the Judiciary, while demanding that the Judiciary be seen to be above board and transparent in the management and allocation of the resources made available to them.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
