 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. POLICE ARREST TWO SUSPECTED TRAFFIC ROBBERS AT GBAGADA


Officers of Ifako division of the Lagos State Police Command, have arrested one Alaba Ibrahim ‘m’ aged 35 and Hammed Ibrahim ‘m’ aged 39 along Gbagada road. 

The suspects were arrested by policemen on routine patrol following credible information received about the presence of suspicious persons on Deeper Life Bible Church Bridge Gbagada. A third suspect, took to his heels upon sighting the policemen.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects have been operating at that spot during traffic grid lock, distracting motorists and subsequently carting away their phones and other belongings.

The suspects are currently assisting the police in an ongoing investigation to arrest the third suspect and other members of their gang.  Suspects would be arraigned contingent on the outcome of investigation.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc, while commending the officers for their resilience in fishing out traffic robbers, has directed that efforts be sustained towards eradicating criminality within Lagos State.
