 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. SENATOR ELISHA ISHAKU ABBO SPONSORED A BILL TO ESTABLISH 'NATIONAL GERIATRIC & FAMILY HOSPITAL,MUBI'.(PHOTOS).

Adamawa North Senator, Elisha Ishaku Abbo (APC) sponsored a bill ( SB 1029 - 2022) for an act to establish NATIONAL GERIATRIC & FAMILY HOSPITAL, MUBI. 

Geriatrics, or geriatric medicine, is a specialty that focuses on health care of elderly people. It aims to promote health by preventing and treating diseases and disabilities in older adults ( old people)

Family Medicine on the other hand is the medical specialty that provides continuing, coordinated and comprehensive health care for all individuals in a holistic manner regardless of age, gender and affected organ or system in the context of family and community.

When passed into law, It will be the first of its kind in NIgeria 🇳🇬 there by opening up access to medical care to people of all age and medical specialties. 

With  Mubi Airport Muchalla,  billed to begin construction in the next few weeks, access to this proposed national medical institution will be easy to all states in NIgeria.
