  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. Teachers' recruitment: Anambra disqualifies multiple applicants

Awka, June 10, 2022 (MOI) The Anambra State Government has disqualified applicants whose names appeared multiple times in the ongoing teachers' recruitment. 

The announcement was made on the website of the State's Ministry of Information, designed for the recruitment exercise. 

It reads, ``This is to inform the public that all applicants for the ongoing teachers' recruitment exercise with multiple entries have been disqualified in line with the earlier warning. Yet to be discovered multiple applicants will also be disqualified when discovered. 

``A list with the new identification numbers of eligible candidates for the examination, coming up on Saturday, 11th June 2022 at various CBT Centres, has been uploaded on our website."

Applicants are therefore by the message advised to visit only the state authorized website of: www.anambraministryofeducation.com/recruitment to check for their names, identification numbers, their centres/batches and other necessary information. (MOI)
