With only seven points from six games, the Super Eagles are currently fourth in Group C, behind leaders South Africa, Rwanda, and Benin Republic. Pressure has been mounting on Chelle, prompting him to travel to Europe in search of reinforcements to bolster the team's defense. Undergraduate Convicted for Internet Fraud in Ibadan

The Ibadan Zonal Command of the EFCC on Thursday, June 9, 2022, secured the conviction and sentencing of one Bello Ademola Toheeb to six months community service before Justice Sherifat Adeyemi of the Oyo State High Court, Ibadan, on one count charge for internet fraud.

The one count reads: ā€œThat you, Bello Ademola Toheeb ā€œMā€ on or about 11th of February, 2022, at Ibadan within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, did falsely represent yourself to be Joy New, which representation you knew to be false impersonation contrary to Section 484 of the Criminal Code Law Cap 38, Laws of Oyo State, 2000.ā€

The convict pleaded guilty to the charge filed against him by the EFCC.
