 BAMIDELE OLUMILUA UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNLOGY, IKERE-EKITI RE-A VIRAL VIDEO OF BULLYING OF A FEMALE STUDENT IN BOUESTI It has come to our attention that a disturbing incident involving some  students of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has surfaced on social media platforms. A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. UNDERGRADUATE CONVICTED FOR INTERNET FRAUD IN IBADAN.(PHOTO).#PRESS RELEASE.

Undergraduate Convicted for Internet Fraud in Ibadan

The Ibadan Zonal Command of the EFCC on Thursday, June 9, 2022, secured the conviction and sentencing of one Bello Ademola Toheeb to six months community service before Justice Sherifat Adeyemi of the Oyo State High Court, Ibadan, on one count charge for internet fraud.

The one count reads: “That you, Bello Ademola Toheeb “M” on or about 11th of February, 2022, at Ibadan within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, did falsely represent yourself to be Joy New, which representation you knew to be false impersonation contrary to Section 484 of the Criminal Code Law Cap 38, Laws of Oyo State, 2000.”

The convict pleaded guilty to the charge filed against him by the EFCC.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
