 SENATE ADJOURNS EMERGENCY PLENARY ON STATE POLICE OVER REP’S DEATH. The Senate today suspended consideration of the highly anticipated State Police Bill and all other legislative business at its emergency plenary session to honour the memory of Hon. Yaya Tongo, a member of the House of Representatives, whose death cast a sombre mood over the National Assembly. The upper chamber had reconvened from recess amid expectations that lawmakers would accelerate action on the proposed constitutional amendment seeking to establish state police across the federation, a measure widely seen as a major step in the ongoing effort to reform Nigeria’s security architecture. However, proceedings were cut short after Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced the death of Tongo, who represented the Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency of Gombe State in the House of Representatives. We Are Excited Tinubu Emerged APC Flag Bearer – Yoruba Council Of Elders

The Secretary-General of the Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE), Dr Kunle Olajide has described the emergence of Senator Bola Tinubu, as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the just concluded primaries of the party, as a positive development.

In his worlds, “I’m particularly excited that a Yoruba man has emerged as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress, I’m particularly more excited that, that Yoruba man is my own personal friend and compatriot right from childhood.

“It is a positive development for the Yoruba nation, I will call on Nigerians to rally support for him and ensure he emerges the next President of this nation, I sincerely hope and pray that he emerges the President of the Country

Olajide advised Tinubu to adopt unification, peace and stability of Nigeria as the main thrust of his campaign.

“To make us the giant that we are in Africa and the World too. He should keep the flag flying and leave a very solid record behind. This is his time, this is our time, we must ensure that he gives the desired leadership to this country and make our mark”.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
