 Tinubu’s Political Adviser, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, Resigns Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Vice President, has resigned from his position. Presidency sources confirmed that Baba-Ahmed, a former spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum, stepped down about two weeks ago, citing personal reasons. Appointed in September 2023, he represented the presidency at various high-level engagements during his tenure. His exit comes months after presidential media aide Ajuri Ngelale also resigned to address family health issues, marking the second major resignation from the Tinubu administration.

Anambra State Ministry of Women and Social Welfare have rescued a young man who has mental disability  at 54 ridge road Onitsha in the early hours of Saturday 30th July 2022.

The operation was led by Madam commissioner for women and Social Welfare Hon. Ify.Obinabo and a team of professional social workers from social welfare department of the ministry.

The mental disable young man who is said to be in his early 30s was reported parading aimlessly along the street and most times passes the night at different bridges thereby becoming a threat to the lives of those living around the surrounding.  On getting the report the ministry quickly intervened.

Consequently the man has been taken to Nteje rehabilitation home, where he will be properly taken care of, rehabilitated, trained in a skill before being reintegrated back into the society as plans are underway on how to get across to any member of his family or relation as the case maybe.
