 Chris Brown Avoids Jail After London Nightclub Attack, Gets 8-Month Suspended Sentence Chris Brown will not be going to prison for now after a London court sentenced him over a nightclub attack that left music producer Abraham Diaw injured. The American singer, 37, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, October 26, receiving eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. His co-defendant, rapper HoodyBaby, whose real name is Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received a four-month suspended sentence, also for 12 months. Both were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. The case dates back to February 19, 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where Brown admitted attacking Diaw with a tequila bottle. CCTV footage showed the producer being struck twice on the head, hit on the shoulder, chased, pushed to the floor and kicked while down. APC Northern Christian Task Simon Lalong On Action Against Muslim-Muslim Ticket

The leadership of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria in the nineteen northern states of the country has voiced its displeasure over the emergence of the Muslim/Muslim presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Describing the act as an insult to APC Christians in the north, it said the Plateau State governor, Simon Bako Lalong, who doubles as the chairman of the 19 northern states governors Forum must convene a meeting of all APC northern Christians.

The group which made the call in a press statement on Sunday said the meeting will enable the party’s Christian chieftains from the north chart a way forward, else they would see Lalongas as a puppet of the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy.”

Signed by its chairman, Musa D. Misal, they also called on the APC Christian northern politicians to take the path of honour and immediately resign their support for Tinubu and his running mate.

Vowing to resist in all legally possible ways the unnecessary provocation of the northern Christian people, they unanimously agreed to mobilize against any northern Christian who still sees a future in Tinubu/Kashim’s ticket.
