 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

APPOINTMENT OF SUBSTANTIVE HEAD OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS IN FMC KEFFI.


This is to bring to the notice of all staff and the general public that, the 5th Governing Board  of the Centre, has approved the appointment of  Mrs,  Nalon Blessing Okonofua, a Deputy Director, Finance/Accounts, as the substantive Head of Department of Finance/Accounts, Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Nasarawa State.

This follows the recommendation of  Board's Standing Committee on Appointments, Promotion and Discipline (APD), regarding the expiration of the appointment of Dr. Samson Adewale Adegoke, as the Head of the Department, that the most senior officer should take over.

According to the letter conveying the appointment and signed by the Secretary to the Board/Head of Administration, Mohammed Habib Nagogo, the Board directs Mrs. Nalon Okonofua, to immediately take over the affairs of the department, including the access right to the finances of the hospital in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation.

The appointment dated July 6th, 2022, takes immediate effect.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
