 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. EDO: HUSBAND ARRESTED OVER DEATH OF HIS 5-MONTHS PREGNANT WIFE .(PHOTOS).

The Edo State Police Command has arrested an alleged wife beater, Vincent Emmanuel, over the death of his 5-months pregnant wife in Benin City, Edo State.

Vincent, and his wife, Cynthia Emmanuel, 31, got married in 2019 and they were expecting their third child before the unfortunate incident occurred. 

It was gathered that after allegedly be@ting his wife to death, on Sunday morning, July 17, Vincent tried to stage a fake sucide scene by hanging her with a rope. 

He thereafter took photos and videos of her and sent to his mother-in-law. 

According to a source, “The suspect was in the habit of physically abusing his wife even when she was pregnant. 

He ran away after he sent the photos and videos to his mother-in-law. But he was later tracked down by the police and was taken into custody.  

He is believed to have beaten her to death and staged her alleged sucide to evade arrest.”

It was reported that the landlord heard the man beating his wife as usual but he ignored since it was almost a norm.
She was in her 20's.
