 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. EDO: HUSBAND ARRESTED OVER DEATH OF HIS 5-MONTHS PREGNANT WIFE .(PHOTOS).

The Edo State Police Command has arrested an alleged wife beater, Vincent Emmanuel, over the death of his 5-months pregnant wife in Benin City, Edo State.

Vincent, and his wife, Cynthia Emmanuel, 31, got married in 2019 and they were expecting their third child before the unfortunate incident occurred. 

It was gathered that after allegedly be@ting his wife to death, on Sunday morning, July 17, Vincent tried to stage a fake sucide scene by hanging her with a rope. 

He thereafter took photos and videos of her and sent to his mother-in-law. 

According to a source, “The suspect was in the habit of physically abusing his wife even when she was pregnant. 

He ran away after he sent the photos and videos to his mother-in-law. But he was later tracked down by the police and was taken into custody.  

He is believed to have beaten her to death and staged her alleged sucide to evade arrest.”

It was reported that the landlord heard the man beating his wife as usual but he ignored since it was almost a norm.
She was in her 20's.
