 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. EFCC Nabs 14 Internet Fraud Suspects in Awka


The EFCC, Enugu Zonal Command, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, arrested fourteen (14) suspected internet fraudsters at Isualaocha, Awka, Anambra State.


The arrest followed an intelligence report on their alleged internet fraud-related activities.


The suspects include Okeke Chibuzor, Arinze Makua Samuel, Ejiofor Oguchukwu, Onyekwelu Chibueze Martin, Charles Chinedu, Okolie Chinecherem Charles, Ekechi Chibuike, Ikechukwu Louis and Okeke Oluebube.


Others are: Onyekwelu Chukwurah, Odimgbe Chibuzor, Umeh Uchenna,Okeke Somtochukwu and Odo Paul.


Items recovered from them at the time of the arrest include two Lexus cars, several mobile phones and two HP laptops.
