EFCC Nabs 14 Internet Fraud Suspects in Awka


The EFCC, Enugu Zonal Command, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, arrested fourteen (14) suspected internet fraudsters at Isualaocha, Awka, Anambra State.


The arrest followed an intelligence report on their alleged internet fraud-related activities.


The suspects include Okeke Chibuzor, Arinze Makua Samuel, Ejiofor Oguchukwu, Onyekwelu Chibueze Martin, Charles Chinedu, Okolie Chinecherem Charles, Ekechi Chibuike, Ikechukwu Louis and Okeke Oluebube.


Others are: Onyekwelu Chukwurah, Odimgbe Chibuzor, Umeh Uchenna,Okeke Somtochukwu and Odo Paul.


Items recovered from them at the time of the arrest include two Lexus cars, several mobile phones and two HP laptops.
