It has experienced dramatic and exciting times, just as there have been challenging moments. Life changing and sweet memories abound between the two great leaders. Between the two great men, there are recollections of might-have-beens. *PRESS RELEASE:* _Ekiti State Police Command arrests fifteen (15) suspected armed robbers, drugs dealers and cultists, recovers arms, others._ 

 As part of the ongoing effort of the Command to rid the State of criminal elements particularly Atikankan area of Ado-Ekiti, the operatives of the Command, on 13/07/2022, clamped down on a group of hoodlums in their criminal hideout at Atikankan, Ado-Ekiti.

2. During the operation carried out by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), fifteen suspected drug dealers, armed robbers and cultists were arrested. They are: Musa Madaki '35yrs', Abdullahi Umar '25yrs', Shola Adeyemi '43yrs', Hawalu Ali '45yrs', Usman Amisu '30yrs', Haruna Usman '20yrs', Yanusa Abubakar '25yrs', Usman Lawali '20yrs', Ajayi Opeyemi '20yrs', Toheeb Isa '21yrs', Ajiboye Michael '19yrs', Kayode Yinka '20yrs', Taiwo Michael '20yrs', Jimoh Zarheal '19yrs' and David Henry '36yrs'.

3. Items recovered from the suspects are:
āˆš Two(2) locally made single barrel guns
āˆš Two(2) battle axes 
āˆš Two (2) locally made pistols
āˆš Some wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp

4. The suspects confessed to be members of armed robbery gang, illicit drug dealers and cultists.

5. The suspects shall be arraigned accordingly as soon as investigation is concluded.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. ā€œThe Appellant was set up.
