In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria. *PRESS RELEASE:* _Ekiti State Police Command arrests fifteen (15) suspected armed robbers, drugs dealers and cultists, recovers arms, others._ 

 As part of the ongoing effort of the Command to rid the State of criminal elements particularly Atikankan area of Ado-Ekiti, the operatives of the Command, on 13/07/2022, clamped down on a group of hoodlums in their criminal hideout at Atikankan, Ado-Ekiti.

2. During the operation carried out by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), fifteen suspected drug dealers, armed robbers and cultists were arrested. They are: Musa Madaki '35yrs', Abdullahi Umar '25yrs', Shola Adeyemi '43yrs', Hawalu Ali '45yrs', Usman Amisu '30yrs', Haruna Usman '20yrs', Yanusa Abubakar '25yrs', Usman Lawali '20yrs', Ajayi Opeyemi '20yrs', Toheeb Isa '21yrs', Ajiboye Michael '19yrs', Kayode Yinka '20yrs', Taiwo Michael '20yrs', Jimoh Zarheal '19yrs' and David Henry '36yrs'.

3. Items recovered from the suspects are:
√ Two(2) locally made single barrel guns
√ Two(2) battle axes 
√ Two (2) locally made pistols
√ Some wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp

4. The suspects confessed to be members of armed robbery gang, illicit drug dealers and cultists.

5. The suspects shall be arraigned accordingly as soon as investigation is concluded.
