 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. I AM NOT 24 YEARS OLD.

With great joy and with every sense of humility, I bring to you greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 
My name is Rev. Fr. Ebuka Immanuel Polycarp, a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Yola. I was raised to the Order of the presbyterate on the 16th day of July 2022 alongside five (5) other brothers by His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Dami Mamza, the Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese.

Following the course of actions, there have been recent tweets on social media suggesting that I hold the world's record of being the youngest priest with an estimated age of 24 years. The rumours going around are really steering the air and causing unrest as different reactions keep coming up, both positive and negative.

In as much as I appreciate and love the prayers that come with the rumours, I want to however, strongly disclaim any such information and I want to call on the general public to disregard such rumours as not all that is being said hold some truth in it.

To state the fact, I am the first child of a family of four children and I am 26 years old. I began my major seminary journey in the year 2013 after I graduated from the minor seminary and got ordained upon the completion of my years of formation.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
