 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. "I have no singular reason to support anyone from the Eastern region to become the President of this country because we pretend a lot. 

"The gang up in the East is becoming worrisome and has not in any way helped us as a tribe. Tell me why I should support anyone from the East contesting to be President. 

"During the APC Party Primary, i put in my best but what did I get in return betrayal. Among all the aspirants, I am the most qualified but they ganged up against that mandate and turn around now to ask me to support an Igbo Presidency. 

"I have said it countless times that Peter Obi is going nowhere and Ebonyi people are not going to vote him. Our vote belongs to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

"Ohanaeze now have voice to shout support Igbo Presidency but they lost their voice when injustice and saboteur was the order of the day during our party primary election. 

"I wish to reaffirm my stand that our vote belongs to the APC Candidate and nobody from Ebonyi is going to vote for Labour Party. I have said it earlier and I am still saying it again."

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
