 Thugs Break Into Mortuary in Nzhelele, allegedly stole equipment An elderly security guard was brutally attacked during a break-in at Luvhani Mortuary in Nzhelele, Limpopo, on Friday. According to reports, unknown suspects assaulted the guard with a pick handle and an axe. He sustained serious injuries to his head and legs and was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. The suspects allegedly stole equipment from the mortuary before fleeing the scene. Police have opened a case and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify and arrest the suspects.

Keke Rider Assaults Female ATMA Officer On duty In Awka.


A personnel of the Aambra State Traffic Management Agency, Miss UG Ezenwa has been assaulted by a tricycle rider while she was duty at the popular Arroma Junction, Awka. 

Arroma Junction, a major traffic congestion hot-spot in Awka especially during rush hours in the mornings and evenings has remained a headache for motorists, commuters and traffic wardens. 

Several attempts to address the usual logjam made the state government to station officers of ATMA permanently at the Junction.

Narrating her ordeal with the tricycle rider, Miss Ezenwa explained that she was controlling traffic when she noticed that the Keke rider packed in the middle of the road to board passengers and she asked him to move away his tricycle which he refused.

According to Miss Ezenwa, the Tricycle rider came down and stated beating her up, claiming that she had insulted him while asking him to move away from the road.

Responding, the Keke rider who we could not get his name but identified his Keke Napep with Route Number 4020 and  registration number Anambra ATN-508VC alleged that the said officer insulted and spat on him countlessly which he pointed out was disrespectful before he decided to beat her up "blue and black".

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
