 How Bobrisky smuggled ATMs into Kirikiri, paid N35m to live large — Kirikiri Baale Fresh controversy has trailed the recent incarceration of popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, as a traditional ruler in Lagos has accused officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service of aiding the socialite’s alleged bribery scheme to secure VIP treatment during his stay in prison. The Baale of Kirikiri Town, Chief Babalola Shabi, popularly called “Baale No-Nonsense,” alleged that Bobrisky smuggled eight Automated Teller Machine cards into the Kirikiri custodial facility and used them to funnel a total of N35 million through Point of Sale operators in the area — reportedly to grease the palms of prison officials for preferential treatment. Shabi made the revelation during a town hall meeting organised by the Lagos State Police Command on Saturday, as part of events marking the National Police Week. PA Ayo Adebanjo, leader of the Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, has declared open support for the Labor party presidential candidate. Peter Obi , the Yoruba leader said he has lost confidence in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed and Abubakar Atiku , so he will not support any of them

The 94 year old Yoruba elder and leader condemned the common adage in Yoruba language , “ Omo eni kii se idi bebere , kafi Ileke si idi Omo elomiran”, meaning ,a person can not have a child at home and decorate the bands of another person’s child “ , he said such adage should not be applied at this very dangerous moment the country is undergoing.

Pá Ayo Adebanjo , who spoke at a program “ Yoruba Gbode” this Sunday 10th , July , 2022 , insists that Labor party candidate, Peter Obi can mend Nígeria , “It is only Peter Obi that can rule independently without the influence of these criminals in the Govt “ – Pa Ayo Adebanjo said.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
