 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) celebrates the Vice Presidential Candidate of our Party in the 2023 general election and Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on his 63rd birthday.

Sen. Dr. Okowa, is a humble, honest, highly organized and courageous statesman; a very practical, brilliant and exceptionally resourceful leader who continues to demonstrate uncommon passion, commitment and dedication towards the unity, stability and economic development of our dear nation.

Over the years, as a Medical Doctor, Local Government Chairman, Commissioner and later Secretary to Delta State Government; Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, two-term Governor of Delta State and now Vice-Presidential Candidate of our great Party in the 2023 general election, Sen. Dr. Okowa continues to display an outstanding drive, capacity and competence in mandate delivery.

It is incontrovertible that as Vice Presidential Candidate, Sen. Dr. Okowa will bring to bear his leadership qualities as he works alongside our Presidential Candidate, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, Wazirin Adamawa, not only to lead our great Party to victory in the 2023 general elections but also to instill the much-desired purposeful leadership to rescue, redirect and rebuild our nation from the misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
