 "The child was tied up and blindfolded."  (We are updating this story tomorrow with more information) A Springfield, Illinois couple face very serious charges after a witness came forward with shocking evidence of abuse and neglect. We Are thankful the witness came forward.  According to reports, the details of this heartbreaking case came to light on March 8th when Springfield PD was contacted by a female who witnessed a shocking scene at the home of 32-year-old Willie Wardlow and 40-year-old Ashley Wardlow. In addition to her important witness statement, the female witness also had photos and videos documenting the horrible conditions a small child in the home was forced to endure. The child is under 10 years old.  The photo and video appeared to show a young female victim who had been blindfolded and bound. 2023: Peter Obi Names Professor Of Strategic Communication As Campaign Spokesperson

Peter Obi, the presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party for the 2023 election, on Friday announced Professor Charles Okigbo as his campaign spokesperson.

Prof. Okigbo is a professor emeritus of strategic communication at North Dakota State University (USA), where he conducts research on media coverage of elections, strategic fundraising in higher education, and the processes for leadership development and social change.

He had been Registrar of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Vice President of ORBICOM, The UNESCO Think Tank at the University of Quebec, Montréal, Canada, and the Executive Coordinator of the African Council for Communication Education (ACCE) at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

Prof. Okigbo had taught full-time or part-time at the University of Nigeria (UNN), University of Lagos (UNILAG), Daystar University, Nairobi, and the University of Nairobi. He has been a consultant and temporary adviser to UNAIDS, UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO, Ford Foundation, and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.

The Don has published seven books on advertising and public relations, dev com, strategic health communication, public affairs reporting, and market.
