 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. DAVIDO MEETS WIKE, SEYI MAKINDE, ORTOM, IKPEAZU IN PARIS



Nigerian award-winning singer David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, has met with some Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Paris, France.

Naija News reports that photos of the ‘If’ crooner alongside Governor Nyesom Wike, Seyi Makinde, Okezie Ikpazu and Samuel Ortom emerged online on Monday night, 22nd August.

However, the exact date of the meeting with the politicians and musician was not made known.

In one of the photos, they were captured having a dinner and it is uncertain if the meeting was a coincidence or something that has to do with the 2023 election.

Davido’s uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, was recently elected Osun State Governor on the platform of the PDP and it might be difficult for him to openly back the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, like other youths.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
