 Alleged Defilement: Ogun Drops Charges Against School Proprietor, Cites Lack of Evidence …decries social media incitement against the accused, govt The Ogun State Government has decided not to press charges against the proprietor of Perfect Life School, Igode-Remo, Mr. Ashafa Samson Adelaja, over allegations of defilement. According to the state Ministry of Justice, following its findings after a thorough investigation of the allegations against Adelaja, the State Government, on Thursday, informed the Chief Magistrate sitting in the Sagamu Magisterial District that it would not be bringing any charges against him. Accordingly, Mr. Ashafa was unconditionally released from prison custody, according to a statement issued by the ministry. Gov. Abiodun Approves 2019 Promotion, Appointment for MAPOLY Staff

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, has approved the 2019 Promotion and Appointment for the Staff of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

The approval, which had 20 Teaching and 9 Non-Teaching members of staff as beneficiaries, was conveyed through the Hon. Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu.

Breakdown of the beneficiaries include; Four Chief Lecturers, Fourteen Principal Lecturers, Three Chief Executive Officers, One Chief Librarian, One Chief Instructor, One Deputy Registrar, One Chief Confidential Secretary, Three Chief Accountants and One Chief Photographer.
