 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. Gov. Abiodun Approves 2019 Promotion, Appointment for MAPOLY Staff

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, has approved the 2019 Promotion and Appointment for the Staff of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

The approval, which had 20 Teaching and 9 Non-Teaching members of staff as beneficiaries, was conveyed through the Hon. Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu.

Breakdown of the beneficiaries include; Four Chief Lecturers, Fourteen Principal Lecturers, Three Chief Executive Officers, One Chief Librarian, One Chief Instructor, One Deputy Registrar, One Chief Confidential Secretary, Three Chief Accountants and One Chief Photographer.
