 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. IGP Usman Charges Newly Decorated Officers On Professionalism.



The Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman has decorated thirty-nine police officer recently promoted from Deputy Superintendents of Police to Superintendents of Police serving in the Anambra State Command of the force.

The decoration which took place at Anambra State Police Command Headquarters in Awka, attracted friends and well-wishers of the promoted officers.

In his remarks, IGP Usman charged the newly decorated officers to discharge their duties delegently by  serving the people excellently.

The IGP, represented by Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr Echeng Echeng noted that the officers were found worthy of the promotion by the President and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, and the Police Service Commission after going through their details thoroughly.

In a vote of thanks, one of the decorated officers and DOC, Awada Police Division, Mr Emmanuel Ogwu, whose joy knew no bounds, while thanking God for the houour, assured their readiness to make Nigeria Police proud.
